Transitions by design.

I spent twenty-five years designing places for other people. Somewhere in there it became clear that the same questions apply at a smaller and far more consequential scale: what a working life is actually made of, and whether the person living it chose it or inherited it.

Rejigger Atelier is where I do that work. It is a life and career redesign practice based in Lausanne, working in English, for transitions that resist easy categorization — the move to another country, the portfolio career that will not fit a job title, the accompanying partner whose own work went quiet, the architect or designer who is good at the job and no longer wants it.

The method is the one I use on buildings. Look hard at what is actually there, in detail, before deciding what ought to change. Self-knowledge and action are weak apart.

Private Coaching

One to one, in English or French, in person or online. For transitions that resist easy categorization, reskilling without notice, the move to a country that was not the plan, the portfolio career with no title to cover it, the accompanying partner whose own work went quiet, the architect who is good at the job and no longer wants it.

We begin with evidence rather than aspiration. Three sets of it: what you actually value, which decides far more than most people realize and which almost nobody has ever named; what you are wired for, as distinct from what you have practiced at; and where real interest overlaps with work that pays what you need it to. Tested, not guessed. I work with Suzy Welch's Becoming You methodology, and I bring twenty-five years of design practice to what we do with the results.

Workshops and Intensives

A day, two days, or a series for teams, institutions, enterprising families, and small groups.

Values work that ends in a decision rather than a list of adjectives. Sessions for people in transition together: relocated partners, teams mid-restructure, cohorts between programs, the next generation of a family enterprise, teenagers about to choose a university before the deadline chooses for them. And a session for organizations on creative practice as a capacity rather than a perk what making things does for resilience and judgment, and how to design for it inside ordinary working hours instead of scheduling it when the quarter allows.

Rejigger in Practice

Stories from the work: how people have clarified what matters, tested new possibilities, and begun reshaping their work and lives around a better fit.
